Sefali Sarkar is a resident of Sahabhita village of Itahar block, Uttar Dinajpur. She has been practising dhokra craft for the last 20 years and has imbibed the art of weaving skill from her parents. She makes traditional carpets as well as bags, table mats, coasters, runners and other decorative items. She is also equipped in developing finer thread, stitching and dyeing them. Sefali has worked as an assistant trainer in many workshops.
